about.

Hello! We are a group of skilled developers and programmers.

welcome to tacky tech.

My name is Tom and I have been working in the data consulting space since 2019. Four years in, I decided to start my own thing and began to consult on a contracting / freelancing base. I’d place myself into the Azure data universe, though I have also had touchpoints with other cloud and data vendors. Feel free to check out my career path, what I can bring to the table or some of my previous projects.

who I am.

Originally from a small village in the middle of the iconic Blackforest in Southern Germany, I have had the privilege to explore the world not only by travelling, but also by living in a few places. From London to Vancouver, from San Diego to Stockholm as well as some shorter stays in Malaga and Siena, I always tried to get hold of the local culture and the people’s very own story. And I guess that is what describe myself best: Constant curiosity about new things and a life-long learner.
Starting from front end development in Power BI, I dig deeper into data and tech as a business intelligence consultant. After a few data consultancy firms from start-up to mid-sized and extra-large, I started to take on freelance gigs. Experiences include data architecture, data and BI engineering, data science as well as database administration. Industries I worked in are among others automotive, aerospace, recycling, health, sports and charities. Check out the links below to find out more.
